A lovely late 17th century engraved map of Scandinavia with beautiful full hand color. Heavily detailed with place names, rivers and mountain ranges. Vignette cartouche at top left shows babes doing the work of men (harvesting, etc). Image sits within a simple border with measures of latitude and longitude.

In near fine, clean condition with splendid hand color. Original fold line, as issued. Sheet measures c. 11 5/8" x 8 3/8"; image area measures c. 10 1/8" x 8 3/8".
