A charming late 19th century lithographed map w/ a combination of lithographed and hand color. We see a profusion of labeled Pacific Islands including the Caroline, Mariana, Marshall, Solomon, New Hebrides, Fiji, Ellice, Phoenix, Cook, Society and Hawaiian (Sandwich) Islands.
In VG+ to near fine, clean condition w/ a short centerfold split at the left margin. Original fold lines, as issued. On reverse is a small purple oval library stamp, invisible from the front.
Sheet measures c. 23 3/4" x 13 1/8".
