A charming late 19th century lithographed map w/ a combination of lithographed and hand color. Shows this island in remarkable detail (far more than typical) w/ hundreds of place names and topography. An unusual and uncommon depiction focusing on this island as well as the Malay Peninsula and many smaller islands around Sumatra.
In VG+ to near fine, clean condition. Original fold lines, as issued. On reverse is a small purple oval library stamp, invisible from the front.
Sheet measures c. 7 1/2" x 13 7/8".
