A charming early 18th century engraved view of iceland from the sea. We see Mount Hekla erupting in the background w/ sailing ships and whalers in the fore-ground. Numerous people scattered about. Title banner across top "en Islande".
In near fine, clean condition w/ light staining confined solely to the margins. This appealing engraved view is perfect for framing.
