Wonderful large 18th-century folio sheet copper engraved map. Original full hand color.
In VG+ to near fine clean condition, a bit of light browning to bottom centerfold, but overall a very pleasing visual example.
An uncommon map with a fine decorative quality, including a large title cartouche depicting a Royal Sultan type figure and his attendants, Cherubs holding the title banner aloft, a native Indian figure, an elephant, etc.
Sheet measures 25" x 21." Image area measures 21" x 18 1/4."
