This very fine large 19th-century lithographed nautical chart features detailed sailing directions and a chart for determining the tide.
Many roads and individual buildings in Portsmouth and Kittery are clearly discernible.
In VG+ antiquarian condition, minor overall age wear as always found on these nautical charts, nothing distracting and far nicer than typically encountered. Map has been cleaned and expertly lined on the back with archival tissue paper, then beautifully hand colored for a superior visual appearance. Very framable.
Measures 27 1/2" x 19 1/4." Image measures 26 1/4" x 18."
