Attractive and rather uncommon 18th-century chart of the Macao islands and harbor. Engraved with expert and appealing full hand color. Sounding depths and track routes are given, as are anchors for where a ship laid anchor. Also depicts Macao with a detailed plan.
In near excellent clean condition. Note the British Flag in the top vignette and the head in the bottom.
Sheet measures 9" x 15." Image area measures 8 1/2" x 13." A nice 18th century map.
