A fine 17th century map of Georgia and Armenia by A.M. Mallet. Mallet was a well traveled military engineer and geographer who worked in 17th century Paris under King Louis XIV. From his monumental "Description de L'Univers." With decorative title cartouche held by two robed women.
In excellent, clean antiquarian condition with attractive full hand color. On a c. 6 " W x 7 3/4" H sheet (engraved image size is 3 3/4" x 5 1/2 ").
