A very large folio sheet map, nicely engraved with full original hand color. With 2 large insets showing details of Australian coastline.
In VG condition, centerfold splits at top and bottom repaired and which would be of minimal significance once framed. Some minor light toning and wear to edges, again of little or no consequence once matted and framed.
Quite an uncommon map and still enormously visually appealing. A map many collectors would not possess from a very uncommon huge French atlas.
Sheet measures 30" x 22." ; map area measures 25" x 18."
