A lovely, clean example of this very scarce mid19th-century map focusing on the colonial dioceses in this Caribbean region. Table near the title indicates the population, number of Clergy and churches in the region. Insets show British Honduras and the Bahamas.
In VG+ to near fine condition, with original outline hand color.
Sheet measures 12 1/4" W x 9 1/4" H; image measures 10 1/2" W x 8 1/4" H.
Note the charming oval vignette below the title. A very scarce map indeed.
