A lovely mid-19th century engraved map of Belgium, a decorative map surrounded by four steel engraved vignettes, showing the Gothic cathedral at Antwerp, the monuments at Waterloo, and the altar of St. Gudule in Brussels. With the Belgian coat of arms at upper left. Note the charming intricate grape cluster and vine border. With original outline hand color. In VG++, clean antiquarian condition. Original fold line as issued. A nice example of this decorative map. Sheet measures 14" x 10 3/4," image measures 13" x 10 1/4."
