Armenia - 1719
VG+ condition with lovely full hand color. A wonderful early 18th century panoramic birds-eye of Erivan, at this date a part of Armenia bordering on Caucasia Russia, Persia and Turkey. The fortified walls are clearly visible with dozens of individual buildings rendered in profile. In the fore-ground are several men, including a man leading 2 horses. In the distance is Mt. Ararath. Very charming image relating to Armenia. Sheet measures 6 3/8" W x 7 7/8" H, image measures 4" W x 5 13/16" H. (top photo is edited/tinted a bit too green- actual map displays nicer color tones).
