By R. Bonne, the important French engineer and cartographer (1727-1795) who succeeded J.N.Bellin as Hydrographer at the Depot de la Marine (1773). A beautifully hand colored 18th century map of Turkey in Europe which includes Greece, Romania, Macedonia, Albania, etc. then collectively referred to as "Turkey in Europe". Each of the political divisions have been heightened in outline color.
An attractive and desirable 18th century map of this region with beautiful hand color.
In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition. A less common version of this nice map with the date engraved below the title. Sheet measures 15 " x 10 3/4", image measures 12 1/2 " x 8 1/2 ".
