A charming and fascinating late 17th century map of west Africa. With many place names, mountains and rivers. Includes a strip of the Sahara desert, Guinea, and the Congo. A lovely vine cartouche at top surrounds the title.
In VG+ to excellent fresh clean antiquarian condition. Original fold line as issued. With beautiful full hand color. Sheet measures c .6"h. x 6" w. Image measures c. 5" h. x 4" w.
Quite uncommon, a lovely example of this scarce imprint.
