"A Japanese Temple, in which the Priest is performing their Nuptial Ceremonies," published c. 1780's, London, by Moore. A fine mid-18th century engraving depicting a a wedding ceremony taking place at a temple in Japan. Features a fine level of detail in the engraving, including patterns on the clothing. Around the engraving is a wonderful, ornate engraved frame-work which features architectural elements and swags.
In VG+ to near excellent condition. Sheet measures c. 9 1/8" W x 14 1/8" H, image measures 6 1/2" W x 11" H.
