"Dress of the Turks, with a View of the Grand Signior's Seraglio," issued 1804, engraved by T. Wallis. An appealing early 19th-century engraving depiciting two Turkish men and their dress. One man is smoking a long pipe; the other is gesturing across the river with his outstretched hand towards the Grand Signior's Seraglio, the magnificent residence of the then ruler of Turkey. With lovely hand color. Also features several delightful sailing boats.

 In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition. Sheet measures c. 10 1/4" W x 8" H; engraved image measures c. 7" W x 5" H.
