An attractive 19th century engraved map of New England, showing the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont , Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Cartographically depicts Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, as well as major lakes, rivers, and mountains of New England well prior to the Civil War. Also shows part of New York State and Canada. A small boxed inset key lists major cities and their distance in miles from Boston. The population of all of New England is given as 1,954,713. In VG+ to near fine antiquarian condition.
