Chemistry - c.1812
"Chemistry. Laboratory," issued 1805-1812, London, engraved by W. Lowry. A fascinating and obviously uncommon early 19th century group of 3 steel engravings pertaining to the study of Chemistry in the laboratory. Each sheet shows a number of scientific apparatuses for use in the field, that are quite intricate and interesting to study. Features a fine level of detail in the engraving. In VG+ antiquarian condition, with some light foxing/fading to margins (not in the least detracting). Sheets measure c. 10 3/4"H x 8 1/4"W, image areas vary.
