A lovely mid-18th century engraved map showing two panoramic views of the remote Island of Tinian and one of the Landrone Islands in the Pacific Ocean, known for its old ruined buildings. Features two delightful sailing ships and a small row boat full of sailors. In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition, with some light scattered foxing. Original fold lines as issued. With lovely hand color. Sheet measures c. 15 1/8 " W x 10 " H, image area (including text) measures c. 13 3/4 " W x 8 1/8 " H.
