"Cours De la Riviere de Senegal Depuis son Embourchure Jusque'au Desert, " issued c.1747, Paris most likely by Bellin for Prevost. An attractive 18th-century map of the Sengal River in West Africa, which flows through present day Senegal. Gives numerous place names. Features a lovely decorative cartouche and a compass rose adorned with a fleur-de-lys.
In VG+ to near excellent condition. With lovely hand color. Sheet measures c. 7 1/2" W x 10" H, image measures c. 6"W x 8 1/8"H.
