This 17th-century engraving offers a magnificent bird's-eye view of the Greek region once called 'Boeotie', with nearby islands. The tiny castle situated by a bay near bottom center is Athens. Sailing ships on the horizon make the image quite appealing.
In VG+ condition. With lovely full hand color.
On a c. 5 1/4" W x 8 1/4" H sheet; image area c. 4" W x 6" H.
