A very uncommon early 18th century costume plate with lovely hand color relating to Holland, the Netherlands and Belgium. Behind the 4 figures is seen the mast of a sailing ship, crates in the foreground hinting at the importance of trade to these countries. In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition, a tiny chip at left margin way outside the engraved image area. With lovely hand color.
