Bonne, the important French engineer and cartographer (1727-1795) who succeeded J.N.Bellin as Hydrographer at the Depot de la Marine (1773). An attractive and desirable 18th-century map of Hungary and parts of Romania and Yugoslavia, which is nicely engraved and has dozens of important towns named.
