A lovely assemblage of 25 fine condition turn-of-the-century postcards of the Alps focusing on the region of the Jungfrau & mountains around it.  This set features views of the daunting Jungfrau, and the railroad which passes beneath it.  These were bought there by a woman who took a grand tour of Europe in the early 20th century and neatly tucked them into an album almost 100 years ago. They are just now seeing the light of day- for the most part, aside from tiny minor flaws, they are in lovely, fresh, clean condition, close to the day they were bought. They are almost entirely unused, bought as souvenirs by a post card collector who seemed to have a pretty good eye for interesting cards which captures the feel of the city at this time.  

Postcards measure c. 5 3/8 " W x 3 1/2 " H.
