A very detailed mid-18th century view of a dance scene which occurs after dinner for the Emperor of Mexico. In VG+ to near fine antiquarian condition (a couple of light spots in the margin of no consequence), beautifully hand colored on a c. 10 1/4 " W x 10" H, image measures 7 1/2 " W x 5 3/4 " H. A lovely example of this nice historical scene relating to Mexican history. (Please note- the margins are much wider than it appears in the top photo).
