A lovely large map of Spain and Portugal with a large and very appealing title cartouche which shows 3 playful cherubs, with another group of mythological figures in the lower left corner holding grapes and alluding to Bacchus. An inset of the islands of Minorca and Mallorca at bottom right. With lovely full hand color. Mostly clean VG+ antiquarian condition, foldlines as issued, on a c. 13 1/8 " W x 12 3/8" H sheet, image area c. 12 1/4 " W x 10 1/2 " H. The right margin is trimmed narrow with a larger inset tab at upper right as issued and is in no way a defect (still wide enough to frame with no problem). A nice 18th century map of Spain which is well engraved and with great charm and 18th century visual appeal. Ordering: Please use the Buy Me button below, or phone the shop to order this map.
