A charming and uncommon mid 18th century map of Russia. Found here with expert and attractive full hand color. Quite interesting for the mention in the Pacific Ocean off Kamatchka of an undefined land mass with the note "Land discovered by M. Tchirikov", "Jedso" attached to the mainland instead of being an island, with a note about being discovered by the Dutch, etc.
Very appealing visually, in very good + to near excellent antiquarian condition on two c. 6" W x 5" H sheets, image areas c. 4 1/2" W x 3 3/4" H.
