"Hungary with Turky in Europe", issued London, 1774 by Tho. Kitchin (1718-1784), the important English cartographer and engraver who worked for many years in central London and was also "Hydrographer to the King". A fine, almost quaint map of Hungary, the Balkans and "Turky in Europe" with full attractive hand color and a charming title cartouche which shows an urn atop a framed title, a column beside it.
In clean, near excellent condition on a c. 8 1/8 "H x 9 3/4 "W sheet, image area c. 6 7/8 " H x 8 1/8 " W. (original fold lines as issued).
