Bonne the important French engineer and cartographer (1727-1795) who succeeded J.N.Bellin as Hydrographer at the Depot de la Marine (1773). An attractive and desirable 18th century map of this Persian region from the Black Sea and Caspian across to Mogol Empire which includes political and territorial divisions which have long since shifted and vanished. Territories include Armenia, Irac Arabi, Irac Ajemi, Farsistan, Kerman, Siglistan, etc. Very nicely engraved and beautifully hand colored. A nice 18th century map of this Middle Eastern region not frequently focused on in this detailed a manner.
