An attractive and uncommon 19th century lithographed map of this southern region with full original hand color, issued Chicago, by H. Stebbins, who printed maps for George Cram. With an oval title cartouche and extensive rail details (which name the specific lines and showing each stop across the state), a transitional snapshot of these states issued near the height of the railroads historical importance.

In near excellent, clean antiquarian condition with a delicate and beautiful full hand color. On a c. 22 ” W x 13 3/4 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 18 " x 11 1/2 ").
