A fine mid-19th century map of America which shows most of the West in a territorial formation. Very detailed topography, with Indians located, dozens of rivers named and a beautiful blue wash along the coast lines. An uncommon late SDUK transitional map of America.

In excellent antiquarian condition with expert, attractive original hand color. On a c. 17 1/4 ” W x 14 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 15 " x 12 1/4 ").
