A wonderful folio sheet map from Thomson's monumental elephant folio atlas, issued in Edinburgh in 1817 (although many of the maps have earlier imprints). Extremely well engraved, very detailed (hundreds of small towns), with original hand color.

In excellent, clean antiquarian condition with attractive full hand color. On a c. 28 5/8 ” W x 21 1/8 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 21 1/2 " x 16 1/4 ").
