A fine and uncommon mid-19th century map of these Southern states, an oval inset of the environs of New Orleans. With original outline hand color.

In VG+ to excellent antiquarian condition with original outline hand color (map has a very light/ gentle scattered foxing which visually blends in with the maps appearance and a small brown stain well out in the bottom right corner). On a c. 12 ” W x 9 1/2 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 10 1/2 " x 7 3/4 ").
