A charming little late-17th century map by Mallet with very large and ornate decorative title cartouche across the top showing two naked slaves in bondage to each other, clothed only by loosely draped robes. A tall masted ship off the Greek coast depicted cannons ablaze.

In excellent, clean antiquarian condition with attractive full hand color. On a c. 6 3/4 ” W x 8 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 4 " x 5 1/2 ").
