A wonderful 18th Century map of Scandinavia, originally engraved for a French traveling pocket atlas of some sort. Unattributed, but clearly c. 1775 based on cartouche, geography depicted, calligraphy, paper, engraving style, etc.
Beautifully hand-colored. Old fold lines as issued, not detracting in the least. Fine, clean condition on a c. 9.5” W x 7.5” H sheet.
