A gorgeous 1920's black half leather binding. Ornately gilt spine with gilt title and gilt adorned raised bands. Black half leather and tan and black marbled paper covered boards are ruled in gilt. Binding is tight, sound and very clean. t.e.g.
Mostly very clean internally. Title page printed in black and red. Frontis, with tissue guard, depicts a coin showing the profile of Musset (dated 1833). Red marbled endpapers.
In near fine, clean condition. A lovely binding for these works of poetry.
Book measures c. 4 1/4" x 6 3/8". 335 pp.
