A decorative late 19th century period pebbled publisher's cloth. Top board with central gilt title and eagle motif. Cloth lightly sunned at extremities, some chipping. Text block somewhat shaken.
Light, scattered foxing internally. Includes large, folding "Hudson River Route New York to Saratoga Springs Lake George - Champlain and Montreal"; suffers a short split along one fold-line. Also includes eight charming
chromolithograph views of the Hudson river including on fold-out panoramic view of Albany. A previous owner has tipped in a folding map of New York which is in pieces and only partially complete.
In fair to good condition with charming chromolithographs.
Book measures c. 4 1/2" x 6 5/8". 202 pp. Map measures c. 36" x 6 1/4".
