An early 19th century period full leather binding. Gilt title on contrasting black leather spine label; leather exhibits some wormholes near spine head. Leather, overall, smooth and supple with minor wear. Corners lightly bumped. Binding tight and sound.
Internally age-toned w/ two maps. The best map, that of North America dated 1806, is intact and free of rips or tears. A fantastic map. The frontis map of the world lacks the Western Hemisphere.
In VG condition. Valued for the North American map; this map measures c. 7 1/2" x 6 1/2".
Book measures 4 1/4" x 6 3/4".
