Late 19th century blue publisher's cloth. Gilt title on smooth spine; spine cloth gently rubbed at ends. Title in gilt on front board; corners lightly bumped else minimal wear. Binding sound.
Mostly clean internally. Numerous illustrations from photographs by Mr. Homan and sketches by Sergeant Gloster. Front hinge cracked.
In VG+ clean condition. An attractive example. Measures 6 1/2" x 9 1/4." 418 pp.
