Mid 19th century 1/2 leather binding. Gilt title and volume number on spine, gilt raised bands. Half leather and brown cloth boards. Gently worn with both joints cracked at head. Binding sound, front joint cracked.
Mostly clean internally w/ numerous illustrations. Lovely steel engraved frontis "The Creation". Second steel engraved plate depicts "Christ healing the sick". Scattered foxing. No fashion plates in this volume; table of contents at front does not list illustrations - appears complete.
Book measures 7" x 10".
