Lacking volume 3. 

Three volumes in gorgeous 19th century prize bindings. Heavily, ornately gilt spines w/ gilt title on contrasting black leather labels; volume one chipped past headband, other spines exhibit minor wear - a highly appealing shelf appearance. Boards are patterned gilt in rule w/ central gilt school logo "Queen's University in Ireland / Belfast ". Boards exhibit minor wear, top board of volume three rubbed. Joints rubbed. Bindings tight and sound. Marbled edges.

Mostly clean internally w/ light scattered foxing confined to first and last few pages. Pastedown plate on inside front board of volume one "Jacobs J. Shaw inter consocios is logica art examination habita...". Endpaper of volume four detached.

In G+ to VG condition - gorgeous prize bindings despite the wear. Books measure c. 5 1/4" x 7 1/2".
