An early 20th century binding
w/ chromolithographed printed paper wraps. Front wrap shows a large
antlered deer w/ floral design and title; rear wrap depicts a man loading his
luggage onto a carriage - nice lithography. Wraps very lightly soiled, chipped
at spine ends. Binding sound.
Mostly clean internally w/
numerous b&w illustrations from photographs. Large folding map,
"Caledonian & London North Western Railway Map of Scotland."
Insets show "Orkney and
In VG+ condition, overall. Folding map in near fine condition w/ just a few tiny splits at centerfolds (virtually unnoticeable). Book measures c. 5" x 7 1/4." Large folding map measures c. 19 1/2" x 30." 183 pp.
