An
early 20th century black half leather binding w/ attractive shelf appearance.
Spine in six compartment w/ gilt title, central gilt devices and raised bands;
leather is gently rubbed along bands but this is easily remedied w/ a little
leather polish and the shelf appearance is quite nice. Half leather and gray
paper covered boards are lightly soiled w/ light edgewear. Binding tight and
sound. t.e.g.; deckled fore-edge.
Mostly
clean internally w/ very light, uniform age-toning. Complete w/ fifty full page
illustrations of
In
VG+ condition, overall. A scarce example in nice period leather. Book measures c. 5
3/4" x 8 1/8". 286 pp
