An attractive period 1/2 leather binding. Spine in six compartments, title in gilt on contrasting black leather label, raised bands; leather gently rubbed at ends and bands, gilt remains bright w/ an appealing shelf appearance. Binding tight and sound. Marbled edges.
Mostly clean internally w/ scattered foxing. Engraved frontis depicts "Jerusalem as seen from Olivet." Other small woodcut illustrations throughout, integrated with text. Marbled endpapers match boards.
In VG+ condition, only gently worn, sound binding, clean and with nice shelf appeal.
Measures 5" x 8." 340 pp.
