Period 1/2 leather binding. Clean ex-library. Gilt title and year on spine, gilt adorned raised bands; leather gently chipped at spine ends. Half leather boards are bright and clean, minimal edgewear. Leather slightly worn at joint heads. Binding tight and sound.
Mostly very clean internally. Contains the address from the meeting and the publications presented in the year 1896. Ex-libris bookplate and scattered library stamps.
In all, an attractive example of this uncommon late 19th century scientific gathering.
