An early 19th century period paper covered board binding with leather spine. Smooth spine in five gilt-ruled compartments with gilt title; leather is cracked and rubbed, gilt is rubbed. Green paper covered boards, overall, worn with edgewear. Appears to have been a much used reference. Binding is cracked at center but remains tight and sound.

Text block is lightly age-toned with minor scattered soiling. Includes three full page woodcuts of religious content. Frontis to the first book is the engraving typically found in "A Pious Parent's Gift" - the person reclined in his/ her bed. A second woodcut found within this same book depicts a woman teaching five naked children and above there is two women reading a bible. The third, and last, woodcut is opposite a chapter page from Sturm's writings - "Mind enlarged by contemplating Nature" where an older man is addressing three other men with rifles. Bookplate "Fitchburg Historical Society - Presented by Mrs. Dr. D. B. Whittier".

In all, appears to be a scarce compilation of these titles in an early 19th century period binding.

Book measures c. 3 1/2" x 5 5/8".
