2 volumes in fine period 3/4 green/ brown leather bindings. Raised bands gilt ruled, gilt leaf devices in compartments. t.e.g., deckled edges, engraved frontis plates hand colored, plus maps and illustrations throughout.

 In VG+ condition, clean, minimal wear, bindings sound and tight. At headbands a bit of minor small chipping easy to overlook. A lovely fresh set, beautifully printed, well bound.

This is a complete 2 volume subset of a larger set. We bought a few volumes, all of which stand alone and are complete within themselves like these and we will be offering them in the days ahead. Truly handsome bindings.

Books measure c. 8 5/8" H x 5 3/4".
