Undated and unattributed 19th century accordion style souvenir photographic album, issued c. 1885. With 12 charming original laminated illustrations of the city, including panoramic views, important buildings and monuments. Images remain very clean, each is titled below in German.
Original red embossed cloth folder is clean, with gilt stamped title on front board. Rear board also gilt ruled, with a large central silver stad wappen (an eagle surrounded by a garland wreath). Well preserved, nice, and clearly not common.
Book measures c. 3 1/4" H x 5". When opened, the run of 12 photos is 56 " long.
