Late 19th century century juvenile, profusely illustrated with 17 wonderful full page chromolithographed plates, all the other pages with monochromatic lithos. Hardcover, pictorial chromo pastedowns to both boards.
In VG+ condition, minor light soiling, tight binding, internally very clean. The Nister chromos are all of small children (many with cats, at the beach, playing with dolls, babies, etc.) and are simply wonderful, all of which could easily be framed. Certainly an uncommon title to find intact and complete, clean and nice.
Measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2." You will be very happy with this book.
