Period full vellum binding. Title hand lettered in the spine as often seen on old vellum bindings. Finely engraved ornate title page. Second title with many charming woodcut portraits. In VG+ condition overall, front joint splitting but holding firmly, binding otherwise sound and tight, internally mostly clean, some old careful underlinings throughout. At front is an early European book dealers annotation describing in detail the collation, which is given as complete.
Measures 7 1/2" x 10." Due to weight and value, will run c. $10 to ship insured via UPS within the US. A rare pair of early printed Catholic Church works.
